The last few months have been a disaster for the people behind the GirlsDoPorn website. Last summer saw the start of trial in a lawsuit 22 women filed against site owner Michael Pratt and two other men. That case resulted in a $13 million verdict against the men earlier this month. A judge ruled in favor of the women in January 2020, ordering Girls Do Porn to pay them $12.7 million in damages and granting them ownership rights to the content. He said during the trial that he filmed around 100 videos for GirlsDoPorn and moved to the US in 2011 to help Pratt, his childhood friend from New Zealand. Wolfe, who was identified as the “person most qualified” to testify on behalf of the company, is also an owner of GirlsDoPorn’s affiliate website, GirlsDoToys.

The website’s co-owner, Matthew Isaac Wolfe, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion in July. Wolfe’s sentencing hearing was postponed to Feb. 1, 2023, court records show. Sammartino’s order will require him to pay the victims 50 percent of whatever money he makes while in prison through the Inmate Financial Responsibility Program, or $25 per quarter, whichever is greater. After his sentence is up, he’ll be required to pay them at least $200 per month. Pratt victimized hundreds of young women, federal prosecutors said, including at least one girl under the age of 18. Sammartino sentenced Garcia to 20 years in prison and sentenced Theodore “Teddy” Gyi, a cameraman who filmed about 120 of the videos, to four years in prison. The conspiracy count to which Wolfe pleaded guilty pertains to 15 victims, all adults. Even after the women’s videos were released on the site, the victims said they were doxxed, and their personal info was released to the internet. Women also testified that the men refused to stop the porn shoots, and that they were threatened with withholding their hotel reservations and plane tickets they were going to use to return home. He and his co-conspirators are accused of posting internet ads about modeling jobs to lure young women before pressuring and manipulating them into shooting sex tapes.
